Head of the social assistance department at home in CENTR NADANNYa SOCIALNIH POSLUG SOLONYaNSKOYi SELISchNOYi RADI, KU

The head of the department of social assistance at home carries out professional activities in the organization, coordination and control of the provision of social services to elderly citizens, persons with disabilities, persons who are in difficult life circumstances and need outside help at their place of residence.

Job duties

• Organizes the work of the department of social assistance at home, ensures effective and high-quality provision of social services recipients;

• Identifies persons who need social assistance at home, organizes their accounting;

• Coordinates the activities of social workers, monitors their performance of their duties;

• Provides an assessment of the individual needs of recipients of social services, determines the amount and types of social assistance;

• Controls compliance with state standards of social services and the requirements of the current legislation;

• Organizes documentation, reporting and quality monitoring of the provision of social services;

• Interacts with local self-government bodies, medical institutions, public and charitable organizations.

Qualification requirements

• Higher education of the first or second level (bachelor or Master's degree).

Necessary personal qualities

Responsibility, organization, communication, stress resistance, ability to work with people, leadership qualities.

Necessary business qualities

Discipline, management skills, ability to plan and control, quality and effectiveness of work.

Ability to work with computer

Proficient PC skills, knowledge of the basic principles of working with the Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel), skills in working with information and search systems on the Internet.

Knowledge of legislation

• Constitution of Ukraine;

• Law of Ukraine "On Social Services";

• Resolutions of the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine on the organization of social services services;

• State standard of social assistance at home;

• Regulatory and legal, instructional and methodical documents regulating the activities of the department of social assistance at home.
