About the vacancy

We are looking for an experienced specialist who will lead the direction of risk analysis and be responsible for the effectiveness of the loan portfolio, control of key metrics and the development of the company's analytical processes.

Requirements:

• Experience in a management position in the field of risk management.
• Mandatory experience in MFI / microcredit.
• Confident command of SQL and practical experience with relational databases.
• Advanced knowledge of Google Sheets and Excel (complex formulas, pivot tables, data analytics).
• Deep understanding of credit product economics.
• Experience in team management and performance monitoring.
• Ability to build transparent processes and analytics.
• Ability to translate business requirements into clear technical tasks for the IT team.
• Understanding the Mexican market will be significant an advantage.

Responsibilities:

• Monitoring and optimization of key metrics: DPD, default, portfolio yield, default, NPL, Approval Rate, Cost of Risk.
• Team management: management of the risk analysis department, task setting, quality control of analysts' work.
• Interaction with managers: regular communication with operational teams and control of procedures and indicators.
• Working with data: independent work with databases (PostgreSQL), sample preparation, analytics and verification hypotheses.
• Development of IT processes: preparation and description of technical tasks (TOR) for the IT team when implementing new rules or changing processes.
• Analytics and reporting: building analytical tables, dashboards and reports in Google Sheets and Excel.
