NGO "Proliska" announces a competition to fill the vacant position "Head of the monitoring program in the field of defense" in the city of Uzhhorod
Public organization "Proliska" is a non-commercial, non-political humanitarian organization that has been providing comprehensive assistance since 2014 and protection of the population affected by military actions in Ukraine.
Currently, our organization works in 13 regions of Ukraine and provides: social support of the most vulnerable people affected by military actions; provision of psychological assistance to victims; consulting on social issues; provision of humanitarian aid and materials for emergency repairs of housing damaged as a result of hostilities; providing assistance to institutions and establishments where IDPs have found refuge; assistance in the evacuation of the population from the combat zone and social transportation of residents of settlements along the combat line and in de-occupied territories where regular transport does not operate.
I. Requirements for the contestant:
- Higher education (required);
- Higher education in the field of economics, law, social and related sciences (will be an advantage);
- Experience in management positions (will be an advantage);
- Fluency in Ukrainian language (required) and English language proficiency above average;
- High communication skills;
- Business correspondence skills;
- Team building and personnel management skills;
- Ability to motivate people to achieve individual and team results, effectively delegate tasks and manage performance, monitor and analyze activities for improvement efficiency;
- Professional level of mastery of Microsoft Office programs;
- Experience in processing statistical data, writing reports and using statistical reporting platforms such as Kobo-forms (will be an advantage);
- Readiness for regular visits to the territory of Ukraine, including to the territory close to the combat zone, under the control of of the Government of the territory of Ukraine;
- Ability to analyze and consolidate data, identify trends;
- Understanding the principles of protection (protection mainstreaming), knowledge of such approaches as the principles of confidentiality, gender equality, etc.;
- Experience of working with tools and analytical platforms (will be an advantage);
- Ability to think critically;
- An advantage will be given candidates with similar work experience in non-profit organizations or UN agencies;
- Resistance to stress, the ability to work in conditions of uncertainty and urgency.
II. Functional responsibilities:
- Control and coordination in terms of planning, organization, ensuring the fulfillment of the tasks (indicators) assigned to the humanitarian centers in terms of monitoring issues within the framework of the Project tasks
- Control over the analysis and summarization of quantitative and qualitative performance indicators of monitors, preparation of regular reports in accordance with certain tasks (for management, donors, partners), ensuring the accuracy, content and timeliness of statistical and analytical reports;
- Responsible for entering all monitoring and reporting data, maintaining relevant project activity databases and indicators, as well as for data analysis;
- Organizes surveys, research and other data collection activities;
- Support in the development of monitoring tools (questionnaires, kobo forms, feedback, templates for collecting qualitative data, etc.);
- Risk analysis and compliance with data protection standards (confidentiality, gender-sensitive approach in collection and analysis data, etc.);
- Preparation for the audit and participation in internal audits of the effectiveness of project implementation;
- Involvement in the development of strategic documents of the organization in the field of monitoring and evaluation (policy on monitoring, data collection standards, etc.);
- Conducts regular events to collect feedback from aid recipients and supports feedback mechanisms with recipients
- Supports capacity building of the Organization's staff in the areas of monitoring, evaluation, accountability and training;
- Ensures proper documentation of all project activities;
- Evaluates services provided and incorporates observations into the project completion report in order to promote improvement of procurement-related procedures and practices;
- Evaluates overall effectiveness monitoring activities by collecting, analyzing and interpreting data, indicators, conclusions about work results;
- Submits proposals to the management on optimization and improvement of the project organization of activities, as well as implements tools, forms and processes to strengthen internal control in accordance with the requirements of donors and the organization;
- Making visits to humanitarian centers of the NGO "Proliska" with the aim of providing practical assistance, carrying out performance evaluation, general monitoring of implementation project tasks;
- Compliance with organization policies;
- Participation in cluster work, working meetings with donor representatives, authorities, partner organizations on behalf of the Employer.
III. We offer the successful candidate:
- Contract until December 31, 2026 with the possibility of extension.
