Head of the mining strategy department in NAK Naftogaz Ukrayini

We invite to the team a Head of Production Strategy, who will be responsible for ensuring the coordination of the development and monitoring of strategies and long-term plans for the production, processing and transportation of hydrocarbons segments of the Naftogaz Group (hereinafter referred to as segments) to improve the efficiency of operations and ensure sustainable growth, respectively to the approved Corporate Strategy.

Responsibilities:

• Coordination of strategic and investment planning by segments, medium- and long-term development scenarios by preparing strategic and investment documents at the level of the Company and SOE; ensuring their consistency with corporate documents.
• Analysis of the efficiency of the portfolio of licenses, deposits, processing and transportation assets; prepares recommendations for optimization (entry/exit, expansion, conservation), taking into account synergies between S&O.
• Analysis of capital allocation between segment projects; formation of a proposal for prioritization of the portfolio of initiatives/capital investments.
• Analysis of the provided data by segments; analysis of deviations from strategies/plans; identification of bottlenecks, areas of improvement and growth.
• Monitoring the implementation of sectoral strategies by segments, strategic and investment plans of SE by segments; prepares recommendations and reports with performance evaluation.
• Implementation of monitoring and control of CRI in business processes by segments.

Requirements for the candidate:

• Higher economics by education - qualification level specialist or master.
• Experience of at least 5 years in the field of hydrocarbon extraction / portfolio management within segments.
• MBA of recognized schools, CFA (candidate or certified analyst) is desirable.
• Understanding of technologies of exploration, drilling, production, processing, transportation of hydrocarbons.
• Experience in the analysis of production data, forecasting.
• Proficiency in methodologies of strategic planning, prioritization of investments, KPI.
• Knowledge of the English language at the level Upper-Intermediate.
• Profound knowledge of MS Office.
