TCHU is thousands of people all over Ukraine who make the world a better place every day. The Head of Video ProductionMediacenter will be responsible for managing video production processes in the Mediacenter. This role is supported by the Head of Media Center and Head of Communications in critical editorial activities, as well as ensuring content meets organizational standards and is effectively distributed across platforms. The position involves the organization and support of filming and directing podcasts, interviews with invited guests, and thematic video materials highlighting important social and humanitarian issues.
Duties:
- Planning, coordination and filming of podcasts and interviews.
- Preparation of scripts and storyboards for each episode.
- Selecting and inviting guests for podcasts and interviews.
- Ensuring high quality shooting, sound and editing.
- Working closely with HMH production team and editorial staff.
- Ensuring compliance schedules and deadlines.
- Managing the technical and creative aspects of the project
Requirements:
- Education in the field cinematography, journalism or media
- Minimum three years as a video production manager preferred
- Experience with multi-camera shoots: Knowledge and ability to organize and conduct multi-camera shoots
- Skills crew management: Ability to coordinate the work of camera operators, sound operators, lighting and other team members.
- Knowledge of streaming technologies: Experience with streaming platforms and knowledge of real-time video transmission technologies will be an advantage
- Ability to work with teleprompters: Experience setting up and using teleprompters during filming will be an advantage
- Knowledge of modern video and audio equipment, editing software (Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, Audition and others).
- Excellent communication skills andability to work in a team.
- Responsibility, organization and ability to work under stress.
- A high level of English, both oral and written, is desirable
