For more than a year, the communal institution "Small group house "Community-Relatives" has been working to provide comprehensive support and development of orphans, children deprived of parental care and persons from their number, including children with disabilities

The project was created by the Lviv City Council together with the charity foundation "Relatives". Head of department

Wishes for the candidate:

• Education in the field of social work, social pedagogy, psychology or related areas;
• Practical experience in the field of providing social services, case management;
• Knowledge of methods and approaches to social work and support for teenagers and other clients of the institution;
• Knowledge resources, services and programs that contribute to social support;
• Understanding methods of socialization of persons with disabilities (will be an advantage);
• Experience in supporting educational disciplines and/or programs;
• Experience of working with large sets of documents and information;
• Experience of partnership development and attracting support for program/institution development (will be an advantage);
• Experience of managing a team of 2 people in direct subordination (will be an advantage);
• Understanding the principles of confidentiality of information and respect for the rights and dignity of clients;
• Excellent communication skills.

Your areas of responsibility:

• Participation in the implementation of the unique educational method "Community-Family" in all disciplines/programs of the institution;
• Work according to the case management program with teenagers;

• Development of an individual plan for working with teenagers and determination of the form and methods of assistance;
• Cooperation with representatives of the social sphere of the community (employees of educational institutions, health care, internal affairs and others) and work within interdisciplinary team;
• Coordinating the provision of services within the framework of the institution’s activities;
• Organizing the attraction of resources to support adolescents;
• Participation in supervisions;
• Independent management of personal affairs of teenagers and general support of documentation of the relevant direction in the institution;
• Direct control over the state of the MTC of the institution;
• Coordination of the work of the subordinate team;
• Coordination and organization of field events, support of such events directly if necessary;
• Reporting in accordance with management requirements.
