Head of production in Cargill

Cargill has been working in Ukraine for more than 20 years. Its branches are located in Kyiv, Kakhovka, Lviv, Kutsivka and Brahynivka. More than 500 employees work in the company. Cargill in Ukraine is engaged in the production and trade of grain and oil crops, processing of sunflower and soybean seeds. We also manufacture and distribute animal feed. The Cargill company owns an oil refinery in Kakhovka, a compound feed plant in the Lviv region and two elevators in Kutsivka and Brahynivka.

Cargill is starting a search for a specialist for the position of Head of Production (the position is maternity leave). This specialist manages all production and operational processes, is responsible for uninterrupted production and team involvement. This is a key role in achieving safety, quality, cost and corporate standards objectives. Location: Zhorynyska village, Yavorivskyi district, Lviv region.

Responsibilities:

• Management and control of all production processes, capacities,
• Production planning, forecasting.
• Working with the team, including contract employees (including responsibility for personnel decisions related to hiring, performance evaluation and disciplinary measures).
• Work on increasing production efficiency, reducing costs, continuous improvement of processes and the use of technology.
• Control and support of appropriate production safety standards.
• Control and support of product quality in relation to established standards. Involvement in all processes related to product quality and safety.
• Participation in capital investment projects.
• Involvement in current general economic issues.

Requirements:

• Higher education.
• 3+ years of experience in a similar position.
• Experience in similar or related industries will be an advantage.
• Knowledge of English at the Intermediate level and above.
• Leadership and communication skills, proactivity, focus on results.
