Head of Product Management (b2b) in Modern Expo

Modern Expo is a Ukrainian company specializing in the creation and production of trade equipment and solutions for last mile delivery. The company's head office is located in Lutsk, and production facilities with an area of ​​83,500 m2 are located in Lutsk and Lublin. Modern Expo products are transforming retail in 75 countries, and our goal is to become a unicorn company by 2030.

We are looking for a Head of Product Management for Retail, who will lead a team of Product Managers to create and manage products that meet customer needs and achieve business goals. The products of the Retail division include Trade racks, Cash boxes, Refrigeration equipment and Accessories. We actively implement product approaches and tools to create the best solutions on the market.

The main task of the Head of Product Management will be the introduction of product approaches in the creation and management of products to transform the channel into a platform of the best solutions for retail. We expect your team to lead this process. You will define product development strategy in collaboration with the product development team and sales teams.

Your duties will include:

• Management and development teams of Product Managers;

• Understanding market trends and initiating ideas according to market insights;

• < span style="font-weight: 700; font-style: normal; text-decoration: none">Product development strategy formation to achieve business objectives;

• Implementation of product approaches (product discovery, MVP, prototype testing, go to market plan, etc.) to understand customer needs and create products that exceed customer expectations);

Backlog filling and managementfor quality product development and goal realization;

• Assortment, Pricing and Margin Managementproduct portfolio to ensure product performance;

• Interaction with the product marketing team to bring new products to the market and develop existing products;

• Formation and budget managementdepartment.

Head of Product Management we expect:

• From 4 years in the field of product management, of which from 2 years of experience in a managerial position;

• Management skills for team management;

• Experience with product approaches (product discovery, MVP, prototype testing, go to market plan, etc.);

• Proactive generation of ideas and their quick verification through prototyping;

• Analytical thinking;

• High communication skills to interact with the team, stakeholders and customers;

• Developed prioritization and decision-making skills;

• Fluency in English.
