We work at the intersection of strategic consulting, grant management, curriculum development, public procurement and organizational development. Our clients are Ukrainian and international NGOs, educational institutions, community development initiatives and business representatives.

Connecta is already implementing projects and providing consulting services regarding European Union programs and financial instruments, has first results and stable demand from clients. In order to scale, improve quality and long-term sustainability, the company forms a separate independent direction - EU Programs & Funding, which covers work with EU programs (Horizon Europe, Erasmus+, CERV, LIFE, Digital Europe, EU4Health, etc.) and European technical assistance programs in Ukraine.

What tasks and processes will you lead?

Strategy and positioning

• Analyze EU funding programs and mechanisms relevant to Connecta customers and partners

• Form a clear positioning of the company in the field of positioning of the company in the field of consulting on EU funding programs and mechanisms (EU funding advisory)

• Define priority programs, topics and client segments

• Form and be responsible for the financial logic of the direction, taking into account the long cycles of EU instruments

Development and scaling

• To systematize and develop the already existing package of Connecta services in the fieldEU Programs & Funding, transforming it into an independent consulting direction

• Improve internal processes, SOPs, templates and quality control approaches

• Determine direct KPIs (performance and financial) and ensure their regular monitoring

• Plan resources directly, including team, external experts and growth needs

• Build a scalable and financially sustainable service delivery model
  
  

Operational work and expertise

• Take a direct part in the preparation of individual concepts and applications in order to gain a deep understanding of the process and quality standards

• Perform expert review and quality assurance of concepts and applications

• Ensure technical depth, logical consistency and compliance with EU program requirements

• Work with clients and partners, in particular within the scope of building and developing international consortia
  
  

Management and Development

• Recruit, onboard and coordinate the team and external experts

• Regularly report to managing partners on progress, risks and opportunities

• Adapt the strategy directly according to results and changes in EU policies
  
  

What skills are required?

• Understanding EU funding programs and mechanisms

• Strategic thinking and the ability to build new directions/products

• Stronganalytical skills (market, competition, financial logic, etc.)

• Experience in managing processes, people and external contractors

• The ability to combine a "big idea" with a high level of responsibility proactivity

Which experience will be useful?

• Experience with EU funding programs (Horizon Europe, Erasmus+, CERV, LIFE, Digital Europe, EU4Health etc.)

• Participation in the development and submission of EU project applications (successful and unsuccessful)

• Experience in launching new directions, grants or of products

• Experience of cooperation with NGOs, educational institutions, business or public sector

Hybrid format for working remotely style="font-weight: 400; font-style: normal; text-decoration: none">Full-time employment with a fixed rate (negotiated individually)
