About the roleTeramind is seeking a visionary and strategic Vice President of Engineering to oversee and drive our engineering teams based in EEST and Latam. The ideal candidate will blend deep technical expertise in cybersecurity, employee productivity, and business process optimization. We're looking for someone who thrives in fast-paced environments and possesses a deep understanding of building scalable, resilient, and performant systems. You will collaborate cross-functionally with key senior leaders, including engineering leadership and product management, to ensure alignment with our product and technical strategy. This is a pivotal role and offers a tremendous opportunity to have a significant impact on our organization. We are looking for a leader who knows how to lead by example! Responsibilities Lead and manage a team of talented engineers, fostering a culture of innovation, collaboration , and excellence Drive the design, development, and maintenance of high-concurrency, high-performance trading and back-office systems Implement and enforce best practices in software development, including code reviews, testing methodologies, and deployment strategies Ensure the scalability, reliability, and security of our systems by implementing robust architectures and engineering practices Provide technical leadership and mentorship to team members, fostering their professional growth and development Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive continuous improvement and operational excellence Collaborate closely with product management to align engineering efforts with product goals and roadmap Stay abreast of industry trends and emerging technologies, identifying opportunities for innovation and improvement Have an open-minded and inclusive in your work style Requirements 10+ years of experience in engineering, with at least +3 years in leadership roles Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or relevant field experience Experience managing and leading engineering teams, with a focus on fostering collaboration and professional growth Deep understanding of software engineering best practices Strong problem-solving skills and a passion for building scalable, reliable, and secure systems Experience working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment within the financial industry is a plus Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate effectively across all levels of the organization Nice to haveExperience in cybersecurity companiesBenefitsAt Teramind, we're a collaborative, forward-thinking team where new ideas come to life, experience is valued and talent is incubated.
