Ukrainian Network for Children's Rights within the framework of the project "Supporting children and youth with experience of being in alternative forms of care" announces a competition for the selection of trainers and facilitators for the "United for Change" forum, which will be held on March 13-14, 2026 in the city of Kyiv.
Ukrainian Network for Children's Rights (hereinafter - UMPD) was created to consolidate efforts and improve coordination between civil society organizations in Ukraine, and their influence on state policy in the field of ensuring children's rights.
General tasks:
- support the participants in formulating their own thoughts, experiences and proposals, help them find words, structure ideas and express their position confidently and without pressure;
- adapt the style and pace of work according to the age, life and emotional characteristics of the group;
- create a safe atmosphere where everyone can express themselves without fear of evaluation, judgment or comparison; ensure the emotional stability of the group and prevent re-traumatization;
- use interactive applied methods, including exercises, small group work, discussions, practical tasks and simple life examples;
- prepare a short summary report (main observations, group dynamics, key suggestions and needs of the participant(s)).
Tasks of trainers(s), facilitators(s)- optional
1. Conducting interactive activities:exercises and games to get to know each other, energizers and warm-ups, reflective exercises (at the beginning and end of the day).
2. Moderation of panel discussions – preparation, conducting and facilitation of discussion.
3. Conducting a practical session "Dream Management".
Format:
- offline format in Kyiv;
- number of participants: up to 50-60 people;
- dates: March 13-14, 2026;
- target audience: individuals with residential care experience.
Requirements for candidate(s):
- Higher education.
- Minimum 2 years of experience in conducting trainings or facilitated events for young people.
- Experience in using interactive methods (exercises, microgroups, practical tasks, discussions).
- Experience working with groups of 30-60 people, ability to hold attention and involvement.
- Understanding the principles of safe interaction, non-discrimination and trauma-informed approach, ability to workyou with sensitive topics without pressure, interpretation or imposition of experience.
- Skills in facilitating group processes, including supporting participation, managing group dynamics and working with different levels of activity of the participant(s).
- Willingness to work according to the program of the event and in coordination with the organizing team.
- Experience working with individuals with residential care experience will be an advantage.
