DRB is currently seeking a Grants Management Manager to lead the Grants Department and manage a grant portfolio exceeding USD 80 million in 2024. The Manager will lead the grant team, ensure an effective grant management system for all grants and partners, and maintain standardized, efficient processes. In addition, he/she will collaborate with the Program Manager to ensure the timely production of high quality reports, concept notes and applications.
Your main duties will be:
Design applications >
- In coordination with the head of the program, manage the application development process; coordinate, collect, compile and/or edit materials, as well as summarize information received from program staff, technical advisors, head office and/or regional office, as well as partners in accordance with the strategy of DRB in Ukraine.
- Collaborate with the Partner Manager in the application writing process, including local implementing partners as sub-grantees
ul>Grants Management
- Organization and conduct of grant meetings, such as project presentations and closing meetings, in accordance with the guidelines of the DRB project management cycle.
- Provide recommendations and ensure compliance with rules, regulations and instructions of donors and DRB, as well as raise issues related to external /internal compliance.
- Ensuring high-quality management of information related to grants (including management of the Grant Management System of the DRB (SUG) and internal documentation and trackers)
- Ensuring high-quality and timely submission of donor descriptive and financial reports
- Manage the process of submitting applications and ensure compliance with the requirements for (non)extension of validity, making changes, replenishment, redistribution of funds
- Communicate with external key donors on specific grant program issues< /span>
- Maintaining and updating the donor database to identify new donors and funding opportunities in accordance with the strategic priorities of the Regional Office in the DRB
Capacity Building
- Provide technical guidance and conduct training on DRB and donor guidelines, as well as proposal development and reporting for field offices.
Fundraising and Donor Relations
- Support the development of fundraising strategies in DRB in cooperation with the program manager
- Supporting fundraising efforts in coordination with the Country Director and Chief Executive Officer, including compiling a donor map and conducting briefings for donor representatives working in the country
- Maintain contact with donor representatives and coordinate donor visits to program sites in support of the Country Director and Program Chair
DRC Dynamics ERP system
- Ensure DRC Dynamics is used to its full potential
- Ensure proper application of grants and projectsof ERP processes in the country
- Apply reports and data analytics from the system to improve the efficiency of work in the country
- Ensuring ERP in-country support (ie super users)
About you:
To be successful in this position, we expect you to have at least 5 years of experience in proposal, project or program development, reporting or grant management in an NGO and at least 3 years of experience in personnel management. Kin addition, we also expect the following from you :
- Master's degree in international relations, humanities or development studies, business administration or other relevant field
- Excellent knowledge of rules and regulations and donor procedures, including, but not limited to, US and European donors, EU funding mechanisms and UN agencies.
- Proven experience of successfully applying for institutional donor funding
- Previous proven experience in programs implemented through local partners or in remote management
- Proven experience in capacity building and training of national staff and local partners
- Ability to design, develop and implement processes
- Excellent computer skills, including Microsoft Office
- Complete professional command of the English language

Salaries and conditions will be in accordance with the Conditions of Employment of the staff of the Danish Refugee Council in Ukraine.
