Grant writer, Financial analyst in Shestopalova Yu. M., FOP

A grant writer is not only a writer of applications, but also a strategist, financial analyst and consultant who helps clients realize their ambitions. 
Therefore, I am looking for a person who has the following skills:

1. Knowledge in the field of grant funding

• Understanding the working mechanisms of international and local grant programs.
• Knowledge of the main sources of funding: EU, UN, USAID, governmental programs, funds, business incubators.
• Ability to analyze grantors' requirements and determine whether the client's application meets the criteria.

2. Experience working with documentation

• Ability to prepare competitive grant applications.
• Working with project budgets: accurate calculation of costs, determination of financial needs.
• Compilation of reports for grantors (in case of successful funding).

3. Analytical thinking skills

• Ability to assess the potential of the project, its relevance and prospects for obtaining financing.
• Analysis of risks and strengths of the project.

4. Financial analysis and planning

• Understanding the basics of accounting and financial reporting.
• Expense planning for the implementation of projects in accordance with the requirements of the grantor.
• Ability to work with large amounts of data.

5. Project management

• Development of a roadmap for project implementation.
• Coordination of tasks with the client's team.
• Monitoring the fulfillment of grant conditions .

6. Communication skills

• Ability to negotiate with clients and partners.
• Writing clear, structured and persuasive texts.
• Work in a team: the ability to integrate into the work process.

7. Language skills

• Fluency in Ukrainian and English.
• Knowledge of terminology in the field of finance and grant programs.

• Confident use of office programs (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
• Knowledge of specialized platforms for searching for grants.
< li>Ability to work with CRM systems for managing clients and projects.

9. Personal qualities

• High organization and attention to details.
• Resistance to stress and the ability to work under tight deadlines.
