The Global Communications Manager will oversee a winning press and earned media strategy to drive best-in-class programs for new product launches, key selling moments, build strategies, and evergreen seeding programs. Have strong relationships with press and have an innovative mindset. Own PR relationships and events in the US and globally for media pitches, events, activations, MUA/Mario-relations. This role will focus on press, brand events, media pitches and work very closely with the Influencer earned media team and Global MarketingPrimary Duties:Monitor a wide network (US and international) of content creators, industry leaders and partners who embody the culture and values of Makeup By Mario with a focus on color cosmetic authorities and key opinion leaders/brand ambassadorsIn partnership with Global Marketing and with PR agencies develop cohesive, buzz-driving communications strategy that leads to increased earned media and EMV for the brandDevelop and oversee the evergreen seeding and launch seeding strategies with Global Marketing and Influencer TeamManage relationship with external PR agencies (US and Global). Own weekly/bi-weekly PR meetings with PR agencies Ideate around impactful press programming to support strategic launchesComplete press interviews in partnership with PR Agencies, Global Marketing and MarioConsistently manage press outreach list and identify opportunities to cultivate relationships with press that have strong brand affinity and alignmentIdeate and evaluate opportunities for partnerships to grow brand awareness and reachDevelop and input Go-To-Market slides and strategies for PRResponsible for reporting and gathering key KPIs of Editorial performance (in partnership with PR teams) to measure against benchmarksCollaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of earned media strategies and initiativesEvent and experiential activation ownership (with Global Marketing guidance) inclusive of planning and execution (e.g., guest experience, event layout, agency and vendor management, entertainment bookings, décor and scenic, asset creation, catering, permitting and logistics, contract negotiations); production schedules and timelines; budget ownership; and post event ROI reportingDrive regional media events strategy for local activations to coincide with local retail events aligned to the North America cultural calendar and Global Marketing calendar to deliver engaging experiencesOversee monthly budget for PR, handle invoicing and approvalsReport to the Vice President of Global Marketing International: Own and foster international PR agency relationshipsProvide digestible monthly reporting and analysis from international PR teamsOwn the Press seeding process with agencies, sending, facilitating, recommending seeding opportunitiesWork with Mario’s EA/PA on appearances abroad in-stores/eventsHandle and coordinate OUS interviews with agencies Qualifications & Competencies:Bachelor’s Degree5+ in brand engagement and public relationsBeauty, Color Cosmetics is requiredStrong Beauty Press relationshipsProficiency in Tribe Dynamics a plusStrong understanding of industry trends and best practices, specifically strategies on how to build winning EMVStrong time management and prioritization skillsSelf-motivated, results and solution oriented, strategic thinkerAbility to accommodate early morning or night calls with international markets (3-5 hours/month)Potential travel to markets (3-5 times/year) domestically and internationallyStrong PowerPoint skills; proficient in lOutlook, Word, and Excel; can work on MAC This is a hybrid position requiring the employee to work 4 days per week in our mid-town Manhattan office and 1 day remote Show more Show less Должностной уровень Руководитель среднего звена Тип занятости Полный рабочий день Должностные обязанности Маркетинг, Связи с общественностью и Литературный и редакторский труд Отрасли Парфюмерно-косметическая промышленность
