The company "Kailas AERO/GIS Technologies" is looking for an energetic and talented specialist in geographic information systems (GIS) to join our team. We expect from the applicant for the vacancy: Knowledge of the GIS software ArcGIS at a high level. Knowledge of the basic principles of GIS and work with geospatial data : types and formats of geospatial data, data analysis and visualization, work with vector and semantics, spatial analysis. Knowledge of the Python programming language (additional knowledge of Java, R and SQL will be an advantage). Availability of technical education (field of geodesy, cartography), availability of an engineer's certificate -surveyor will be an advantage. Main duties: to automate the process of executing requests to the database and updating it as a result, with the least user involvement. Requirements: Professional higher education (cartography, GIS). Work experience: from 2 years in a similar position, practical skills and knowledge of GIS. Confident command of ArcGIS software, programming skills. Knowledge of theoretical geodesy, cartography, coordinate systems, editorial and proofreading work, practical map making. Ability to work with large volumes of data and use them to make decisions. Analytical thinking.
