General QA Engineer in Niks

Tasks for the first 3 months:

• Go through an extensive onboarding program to validate skills in practice and fill knowledge gaps corresponding to the Middle QA level.
• Work with a mentor to develop hard and soft skills, combining expertise in manual and automated testing.
• Work on a real project: analyze business logic, provide test coverage, and implement basic automated solutions.
• Immerse yourself in and participate in the strong NIX QA community.
• Enjoy the process of finding bugs and systematically improving software quality.

WHAT YOU WILL NEED:

• 1+ years of experience web/mobile application testing.
• Knowledge of Automation basics: minimum hands-on experience or solid knowledge of Automation QA principles. We are open to any framework (Selenium, Playwright, Cypress, Appium, etc.) and programming languages (Java, JS, Python, C#).
• Deep understanding of testing methods and software development processes (SDLC).
• Experience in building test strategies and evaluating test coverage.
• Understanding client-server architecture and API testing experience.
• Sure knowledge of SQL.
• English language level not lower than Upper-Intermediate (B2).
• Flexible analytical thinking, a desire for self-development and the ability to balance between manual and automated tasks.

WILL BE A PLUS:

• Higher education in the field IT.
• Experience in building CI/CD processes.
• Experience in Performance testing (JMeter, Locust).
• Use of traffic analyzers (Fiddler, Wireshark, etc.).
