 General Ledger Specialist (Junior)

 Description:

We are looking for an accountant to perform accounting tasks in collaboration with internal departments. You will be conducting audits on the accuracy of our f inancial information, providing assurance that our accounting practices adhere to regulations, and performing general ledger entries and account reconciliations.

 We will trust you to:

 • Oversee and manage the intercompany reconciliation process for assigned entities.

 • Handle bank postings, ensure accurate cash flow report preparation. 

• Process intercompany loan transactions with precision and attention to detail.

 • Record accruals and other financial entries with accuracy and timeliness.

 • Maintain comprehensive accounting records, execute month-end closing, and prepare reporting packages for several small holding entities. 

• Monitor account balances and investigate discrepancies using SAP and Excel, ensuring data integrity.

 • Uphold a strong control environment by documenting SOX procedures within areas of responsibility.

 • Collaborate seamlessly with Accounts Receivable (AR), Accounts Payable (AP), General Ledger (GL), and teams across different entities and countries. 

• Ensure flawless and accurate accounting within designated areas of responsibility. 

 Requirements:

 • Degree in Accounting, Finance or Economics

 • Fluency in English (Written and Verbal Skills) 

• Good MS Office skills, especially in using Excel

 • Knowledge of SAP is a plus 

• 2-4 years of experience in accounting

 • Good communication skills with proactive, supportive, and positive approach 

• Problem solving skills
