Game Content Manager in CatalystApps

CatalystApps (https://www.catalystapps.net/) is looking for someone who is keen on fashion, culture, and design and mobile games (casual game genre) to join our Game Content managers team.  

We are a game studio that has been developing games for 12 years with offices in Kharkiv and San Francisco. We build games with love and care that connect deeply with our players. The company promotes strong team spirit where each team member's growth and contribution to each project are specifically supported.

We encourage applicants to apply to join our team if they have a strong passion for culture, art, decorating, and playing casual games. Specific game studio experience is not required.

Game Project:

https://www.catalystapps.net/games A pets and decorating game on Facebook desktop as well as on mobile. It includes caring for a pet with a primary focus on decorating various rooms in the pet’s house. Pet dress-up, visiting neighbor pets, browsing the many shops in the game, and sending and receiving gifts to and from neighbors are other major parts of the game. The game is updated once a week via a new shop release with a decor theme of the week that consists of new decor items and clothes for the pet. 

Responsibilities:

• Coordinate with other team members in creation of decor and clothing items to release in shops

• Research and development the concepts, ideas and items based on theme of the shop release

• Coordinate tasks and priorities with artists, animators, programmers, and game product managers

• Take part in creative discussions with game product managers

• Participate in the analysis of player reaction to each shop release

Requirements:

• Current command of spoken English should be at least C1 or a firm B2. Since work involves daily voice meetings with English-speaking colleagues. 

• Proficient PC and Internet use. 

• Strong grasp of American culture and values

• Strong interest in humanities (art, history, culture, geography, etc) and female-friendly hobbies (fashion, makeup, home decor)

• Highly enthusiastic personality

• Proactive and self-starter

Plus Qualities and Abilities:

• Basic knowledge of graphic software such as Adobe Photoshop, or illustrator will be a plus

• Creative, artistic, and gaming hobbies 

• Technical background, content management game dev experience

Проект:

Pet City 2— The basis of gameplay in the game is caring for a pet, interacting with neighbors, arranging rooms, dressing up a pet. Every week the game is updated with new game content, through a new store release with the theme of the week's decor, which consists of new decor items and clothes for the pet.

• Technical training, experience in creating content is not mandatory, but will be an advantage.
• Proactivity and enthusiasm and independence, a creative approach to solving problems.
