Fundraiser, Grant Writer, Manager, Partnership Manager in WAS.media

About us:

WAS is an independent, historical media project that tells about the past and its connection with the present. We work at the intersection of history, journalism and culture, creating engaging and meaningful content. Our team strives to popularize the history of Ukraine and the world through multimedia formats and actively develop its platforms — in particular, a YouTube channel, a website and other international projects.
To support sustainable development and project financing, we are looking for a fundraiser who will help strengthen our independence and expand opportunities.  

Main tasks:

- Development of proposals, concepts and preparation of grant applications.  

- Preparation of project budgets, cost control and reporting to donors.  

- Participation in the development of instructions, checklists and policies for grant management. 

- Interaction with donors and partners, informing about the progress of projects. 

- Ensuring compliance with deadlines and internal procedures of the organization.  
What we expect from the candidate:

- Experience in fundraising, project management or legal field (will be an advantage).  

- Ability to work with budgets and economic thinking.  

- Experience in communication with donors and partners.  

- Development and implementation of a fundraising strategy to support the organization.  

- Finding new grant opportunities and attracting funding in accordance with KPIs.  

- Ability to work with documents and reporting, including interim reports for donors.
