Full Stack Developer in Universe Group (Genesis)

We are looking for a proactive Full Stack Developer to strengthen the technical team of the Universe Group business - FORMA and will work on the PDFGuru web product in the document processing and conversion niche.
 

Universe Group is a Ukrainian company that launches global IT products. We create mobile applications and web platforms to simplify and improve the quality of people's lives.

In six years, we have built three successful businesses - Guru Apps, FORMA, Wisey, and we are also developing our own R&D center. The company's products are used by almost 62 million people from 180 countries around the world.

Technology stack:

You will have the following tasks:

• Development of new functionality in the product to enter new markets.
• Development and implementation of new microservices, as well as APIs for integration with other services and client applications.
• Optimization of the performance of server code and databases.
• Implementation and use of architectural patterns to improve the scalability and reliability of the system.
• Collaboration with the DevOps team on flow deployment, active participation in CI and code quality optimization in the repository.

We expect that you have:

• From 2 years of commercial development experience in Node.js.
• From 1 year of commercial experience in React, Next.js, Nest.js, TypeScript.
• Commercial experience with PostgreSQL/MySQL.
• Experience with Docker, Github Actions.
• Experience with component libraries - Material, AntDesing, TailwindCSS, StyledComponents.

• Understanding client-server architecture, basic communication protocols (HTTP, WebSockets, gRPC).
• Qualities such as proactivity, self-organization, ability to meet deadlines, ability to prioritize tasks and effectively use working time, openness to new ideas and willingness to learn new approaches and technologies.

It will be a plus if you have:
 

• Experience with GraphQL
• Experience with AWS3 services. 
• Practical experience in deploying Kubernetes environments
• Experience with analytical tools (Amplitude, Gtag, Mixpanel, etc.)
