FTTB Technical Support Specialist in Kyivstar/Kiyivstar

We are looking for a specialist who will be responsible for the stable operation of the FTTB access network, control of connection processes and subscriber service, as well as support and development of the network infrastructure.

Your contribution will directly affect the smooth operation of the network, the growth of the subscriber base and the quality of service for customers.

What you will do

• Control the time of restoration of the FTTB access network during emergency restoration works
• Check the reliability of the volumes of materials used during the works
• Search for prospective addresses for the construction of new FTTB network facilities and submit them for approval
• Control the progress of construction and installation works and provide support to contractors
• Check the scope and quality of the works performed, prepare the results of technical audits
• Check executive documentation of built network objects
• Develop and submit proposals for the construction of passive in-house infrastructure
• Control the progress of planning and preventive works on the access network according to the approved schedule
• Control the capacity of subscriber ports and initiate technical changes in the TTWOs system
• Interact with internal teams and employees of contracting organizations to achieve targets results

Necessary experience and qualification

• Higher education, preferably technical
• Work experience of 2 years in the field of construction or maintenance of telecommunication networks
• Experience in telecommunications
• Understanding the principles of construction and operation of FTTB access networks
• Skills of technical control of construction, installation and service of work
• Ability to work with technical documentation
• Confident use of MS Office and office services

• Experience of working with internal accounting and application systems
• Experience of participating in access network development projects
• Ability to work with subcontractors and monitor the execution of work
