This includes everything from league sign-ups to real-time score tracking and a social space for our members.What We Need:We are looking for a Freelance Web Developer to help bring our vision to life by developing a dynamic, user-friendly website that supports all the functionalities required for the league's operations. From registration to score tracking, we want to create a seamless experience for players and administrators alike.Key Responsibilities:Develop the website based on the Don Golf League's specific needs (landing page, sign-ups, leaderboard, scorecard submission, news feed, merchandise store, user profiles, and a challenge system).Integrate secure payment systems (like PayPal or Stripe) for registration fees and other payments.Implement a real-time leaderboard that updates as players enter their scores.Build a dynamic and responsive design for both mobile and desktop platforms.Set up a user profile system with customizable fields, rankings, and gamification elements.Ensure smooth integration for a challenge booking system where users can propose and join games with a small fee.Add a messaging system for users to communicate about their games and coordinate playtimes.Collaborate with our team for testing and debugging to ensure the site runs smoothly.Skills & Qualifications:Proven experience in frontend and backend web development.Strong proficiency in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and frameworks like React.js or Vue.js.Experience in real-time features like live score updates and messaging systems (WebSockets or SSE).Familiar with payment gateway integration (Stripe, PayPal).Knowledge of database management (MySQL, PostgreSQL).Comfortable working remotely and managing your own time.Ability to write clean, maintainable code and ensure fast, responsive website performance.Good communication skills to collaborate with our team.What We Offer:A flexible freelance position – work remotely from anywhere in Europe, South America, or Southeast Asia.A monthly stipend of $500 for the duration of the project, with potential for more as the project grows.A chance to work on an exciting and innovative project in the sports and gaming industry.An opportunity to shape a website that will be used by players around the world.A collaborative environment where your ideas will be valued.How to Apply:Please send your resume, a portfolio of relevant past projects, and any links to websites you have worked on, to [email protected].
