FPGA Designer/Digital Signal Processing Engineer

We are looking for an experienced FPGA Designer/Digital Signal Processing Engineer to develop an image stabilization and tracking system. This role involves working closely with the hardware and software development team to build a high-performance FPGA-based system.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Development of FPGA design for video signal processing, including algorithms for image stabilization and object tracking.

• Integration of digital signal processing (DSP) blocks to ensure efficient processing of video stream in real times.

• Implementation and optimization of signal processing algorithms at the hardware level.

• Collaboration with software and hardware teams to configure interaction between FPGA and other system components.

• Transfer existing algorithms from C/C++/Matlab to FPGA

• Writing tests for verification and simulation

• Conduct simulation, verification and testing of FPGA designs.

• Support of prototyping and integration with existing equipment.

• Documentation of the development process and technical specifications.

Requirements:

• Experience with FPGA (Xilinx, Altera or others) and development tools (Vivado, Quartus or similar).

• In-depth knowledge of HDL languages ​​(VHDL or Verilog).

• Experience in designing and implementing DSP blocks for processing of video signals in real time.

• Understanding the principles of image stabilization and tracking algorithms.

• Experience with image and video processing algorithms.

• Ability to work with simulators and tools for testing FPGA designs.

• Ability to work with version control systems

• Ability to use an oscilloscope, a signal generator.

• Knowledge of digital signal processing algorithms.

• High analytical skills and the ability to solve technical problems problems.

Additional skills:

• Experience with high-speed interfaces (HDMI, MIPI, LVDS).
