So far, the interventions have been carried out in 46 different countries. By possessing long-standing expertise in the implementation of projects in Water, Sanitation and Hygiene, Food Security and Livelihoods, as well as Nutrition and Education, PAH concentrates its global activities on ensuring sustainable and stable development of regions suffering from the consequences of armed conflicts, natural disasters and other humanitarian crises.PAH has been present in Ukraine since August 2014 delivering humanitarian aid to the most vulnerable of the conflict-affected population. PAH provides assistance to internally displaced people, elderly and single mothers, working in the sectors of food security protection and livelihoods. PAH Ukraine is currently expanding programming from humanitarian to both early recovery and development-oriented interventions that provide sustain0able livelihoods opportunities to the affected population.For more information, please refer to www.pah.org.pl.Program DesignContributing to food security assessment in targeted communities.Providing support to the team with designing and planning an appropriate food response.Identifying groups at the highest risk and/or gaps in the food security assistance;Engaging in the beneficiary selection process under the guidance;Contributing to procurement process;Coordinating and cooperating with local authorities and local implementing partners provision of food kits;Organize the distribution of the food kits to the most vulnerable population groups;Contribute to ensuring the accountability to the affected population;Performing other tasks as requested by the supervisorProcurement and Contract ManagementSupporting the preparation of all contracts to be awarded to vendors of food and goods related to the food supply of the project.Supporting the preparation of MoUs with local authorities and partners under the distribution of the food kitsProgram ImplementationLogistical planning of distributions and other field activities (procurement, transport, cash advance, etc.).Contract management services for Food Security Projects and provide technical advice for effective implementation to support staff.Working with the Project Teams and ensuring the timely implementation of field works as per the predefined schedule.Participate in the centralization and dissemination of procedures, guides, and tools linked to the Food Security ProjectsMonitoring & ReportingContributing to regular reports on Food Security activities and program progress against work plan and program activities.Providing inputs to up-to-date activity tracking tool (soft copies and hard copies) of all Food Security-related activities.Document field achievements, innovations, failures, and lessons learned to integrate into project activities and inform project strategy.Completing other tasks as requestedby the supervisor.Requirements and ExperienceQualifications:At least five years of experience in food security, agriculture, organizational development, or any other relevant field related to sustainable development is required.At least two years of experience with a non-profit, non-governmental organizationDemonstrated experience working with vulnerable groups; in volatile contextDemonstrated results with conflict-sensitive and adaptive livelihoods activitiesExcellent experience with MS Office including Microsoft Excel and strong skills with Microsoft Word.Good English communication skills written and spoken.Flexible, able to cope with stressful situations and frustrations.Ready for the field trips within UkraineDemonstrate excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to be a strong team player.High levels of honesty and integrity.Able to manage the personal schedule.What PAH offers:Work experience with the professional and flexible international NGO, which is one of the largest NGOs in the Central-Eastern Europe;Work in a dynamic and motivated team;Possibility to contribute to the development of protection programming of PAH;Please, submit the above mentioned documents to indicating "Food Security" in the topic of your e-mail.Only short-listed candidates will be contacted and invited for interviews.Please note: due to the urgency to fill the post, recruitment will be done on the rolling basis, and PAH reserves the right to recruit before the deadline.
