Financial manager within the framework of the USAID program "RADA: the next generation" to the NGO "Internews-Ukraine" in Internyuz-Ukrayina, GO

Do you love making correct budgets and are not afraid of deadlines? NGO "Internews-Ukraine" is looking for an attentive and responsible Financial Manager within the framework of the USAID "RADA: Next Generation" program

The goal of the Program is to promote the "next generation" of reforms that will enable the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine (VRU) to become a modern, effective institution that will promote accountability and democratic development in Ukraine. The Program's activities are based on three main goals:  

1. Increasing the level of voter involvement in the legislative process, including better and systemic interaction between people's deputies and their voters, in particular individuals, civil society and business associations.  

2. Strengthening and expanding the analytical and control potential of the Verkhovna Rada to ensure a full legislative cycle.

WHAT TO DO:

• monitor the implementation of project budgets; 

• account for expenses and carry out financial planning; 

• prepare financial statements in accordance with the requirements of donors; 

• control the implementation of the internal rules of the organization; 

• check and proofread sub-grant agreements, sub-grantee reports; 

 

WE EXPECT YOU TO:

• have a complete higher education - preferably economics or finance; 

• have an excellent command of the MS Excel program; 

• know English at the Upper-Intermediate level and above; 

• have developed analytical skills and attention to details; 

• can suggest solutions to achieve the best result; 

• want to work in a team and take initiative. 

2 years of experience working in public organizations and as a financial specialist will be an advantage.
