Financial manager (controller)

SmartExpert.ai is a fast-growing Silicon Valley AI startup that automates learning processes using artificial intelligence. We cooperate with leading companies from Ukraine, the European Union and the USA, such as Carlsberg, Jacobs and BigMoney. Our goal is to help companies effectively manage their financial activities and scale using AI technologies.

Due to team expansion, we are looking for a Financial Manager ) who will take over management of accounting and management accounting.

Your duties:

• Maintenance of management and accounting records in 1C and Quickbooks.
• Control over timely payment of invoices by clients and management payments.
• Preparation of financial reports for internal and external use.
• Expense planning and plan-fact analysis.
• Preparation of documents for submission of declarations to the American SRA.< /li>
• Preparation of forecasts of the company's financial activity.
• Optimization of the company's financial processes.
• Maintenance of documentation and work with external partners (SRA, suppliers).
• Work with receivables and payables.
• Participation in budgeting for the month, quarter and year.
• Optimization of tax planning and compliance with requirements in different countries .
• Conducting financial analysis and providing recommendations to improve efficiency.

What is required from You:

• Experience as an economist or financier from 1 year.
• Knowledge of 1C, Excel and Quickbooks.
• Ability to work with data and create financial forecasts.
• Responsibility, attention to detail and a systematic approach.
• Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
• Higher education (finance, accounting, economics).
• Readiness to learn and master new programs.

• Salary: from 45,000 to 60,000 per month (depending on the level of the candidate).
