Financial Director (CFO)

Leading logistics and distribution operator providing comprehensive turnkey solutions for wholesale customers and partners. The company works with international imports, cold storage, distribution, ensuring stable supply chains from suppliers around the world to customers in Ukraine.

The company is in the stage of operational and infrastructure transformation and is looking for a CFO who will build a modern financial system to scale the business.

This role is about finance architecture, standardization and growth business.

Key tasks

• Conducting in-depth financial diagnostics and building / modernizing the management accounting system.

• Formation of consolidated management reporting (P&L, Cash Flow, financial results by directions: logistics, financial services, sales).

• Development of a financial business model and system KPI.

• Organization of the arrangement of primary documentation, work with cash registers and collection; construction and management of the treasury (cash flows by city).

• Selection and implementation of ERP / accounting system, transfer of balances, launch of new accounting.

• Management of multi-currency operations (UAH / USD / EUR), exchange rate differences, cross-border payments, VAT and tax issues in various jurisdictions.

• Close interaction with chief accountant.

• Representative function: communication with partners, co-owners, banks and key counterparties.

• Evaluation and optimization of working capital, payment calendars.
  
  

Who we are looking for

• Higher education in finance, economics or accounting; additional professional courses are an advantage.

• 5+ years of experience in managerial financial positions (CFO / Head of Finance) in holding, distribution or international companies.

• Practical experience in building management accounting, financial diagnostics and KPI modeling.

• Experience in the selection and implementation of ERP / financial systems.

• Deep understanding of multi-currency transactions, VAT and tax nuances of cross-border transactions.

• Skills of internal audit and working with disparate primary information.

• Strong analytical thinking, ability to work with unit-economics.

• Leadership qualities, stress resistance, experience in negotiations with banks and partners.
