Financial analyst \ Validation specialist (Croatia, Zagreb) in DTEK, TOV, Energetichna kompaniya

D.TRADING - trade in energy products. It is a client-oriented business focused on reliable supply and provision of quality services in the field of energy resources.

Currently, we are looking for a Financial analyst \ Validation specialist who will be able to work in our office in Zagreb, Croatia. Working hours are from 6 am CET till 2 pm CET.

Functions: 

This role is responsible for accurate and timely End-of-Day process – assurance of correctness and completeness of all deal parameters booked in ETRM system and other trade registers:

• Risk analysis and assessment
• Control over the timeliness of deal entering
• Trader limits check, reconciliation of traders' authority with counterparties, exchanges, etc. 
• Validation of market price curves integrity in ETRM and key reporting tools
• Collaboration with Front desks, Back office, Risk, Product control and IT departments during trade entry / validation problem solving 

Required skill and knowledge:

• Higher education in finance 
• Experience in financial analysis or marketing risks
• Knowledge of Ukrainian / Russian language would be great advantage
• Upper intermediate or higher English communication skills required (both written and verbal)
• Knowledge of power, gas and coal markets functioning and aspects (will be a plus) 
• High attention to details, “sharp eye” on mistakes and mismatches in data, ability to deliver high quality during daily routine process 
• Strong Microsoft Excel proficiency
• Good communicating skills
• Knowledge of SQL, BI Dashboards would be advantage
