Skill set and experience we believe you should have for that role:
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance
- 2+ years of experience in preparing financial reporting and budgets
- Experience with finance and budgeting tools such as QBO (Reachreporting, Workday or NetSuite would be a plus)
- Excellent competency with Google Sheets and Google Docs, including experience with integration of Google Sheets with QBO or accounting systems
- Ability to work with a management system such as ClickUp and PeopleForce or similar
- Knowledge of accounting and reporting standards
- Good verbal and written communication skills (English level B2+)
- Excellent attention to detail, analytical thinking
- Good time management skills
- Exceptional mathematical and calculation skills
- Proactivity and independence
- Ability to work effectively in a team
Nice to have:
- Experience in the IT industry
Responsibilities:
Budgeting and Forecasting:
- Develop and manage the two-weekly, monthly, quarterly, and annual budgets, including forecasting revenues and expenses under different scenarios (Basis, Optimistic, Target, etc.).
- Monitor budget performance and provide detailed variance analysis reports.
- Improve and maintain financial instruments and tools for the budgeting process.
- Collaborate with department heads to create, review, and consolidate departmental budgets.
Financial Reporting:
- Prepare and analyze financial reports, including two-weekly, monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements (income statement, balance sheet, cash flow statement).
- Collect, analyze, investigate variances, and summarize financial data and trends.
- Ensure compliance with accounting and reporting standards.
Financial Analysis:
- Analyze revenue, expenses, cash flows, and balance sheets to identify trends, opportunities, and risks.
- Provide financial advice by studying operational issues and applying financial principles and practices.
- Develop and maintain financial models and forecasts to support strategic decision-making.
Cash Flow Management:
- Produce daily cash flow forecasts to ensure accurate cash flow management and liquidity planning.
- System and Process Improvement:
- Provide full support of the internal financial system, including updating, developing, and implementing new capabilities.
- Participate in the execution of changes to procedures, policies, and systems to facilitate expansion, compliance, and scaling of the business
Reporting and Special Projects:
- Prepare special reports by studying variances, preparing budgets, and developing forecasts.
- Contribute to team discussions by producing ideas and thoughtfully considering proposals from other team members.
