IsraAID's mission is to support people affected by humanitarian crises , by partnering with local communities around the world to provide emergency relief, promote recovery and reduce the risks of future disasters.
IsraAID has been operating in Ukraine since the beginning of 2022, when the organization responded to the urgent humanitarian needs that arose as a result of the war. Since then we have shifted our focus to implementing a long-term program strategy, including health, water and sanitation (WaSH), mental health and psychosocial support programmes.
IsraAID's work in Ukraine promotes sustainable and inclusive problem-solving with a special focus on building communities' resilience to future challenges, as well as close cooperation with community, regional and national leaders.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
The trainer/facilitator will implement the technical aspects of the programs in the city of Dnipro and Dnipropetrovsk region, under the guidance of the psychosocial support program manager, and will be responsible for:
- Ensuring the implementation of programs in compliance with the time frames of program activities.
- Conducting an average of 4-5 trainings/workshops/facilitated sessions for representatives of professional communities per month.
- The form of activities is offline.Duration is 3-4 hours or 1-2 days.
- Implementation of monitoring and evaluation recommendations (MEAL) to comply with the required work standards
- Response to to IsraAID's theory of change activities, mission objectives, model and program content, as needed to adapt to specific contexts and program requirements
Representation:
- Have a deep understanding of mission activities, in particular, the psychosocial aspect.
- Increase the authority and visibility of IsraAID through active participation in forums, meetings and external events andtors in the field of psychosocial support when needed.
QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS TRAINER:
- Higher education in the field of psychology, social work, pedagogy or in another relevant field;
- Confirmed knowledge and experience in developing and conducting trainings, using various training methods and tools, as well as the ability to generate quality knowledge products;
- At least three years of training experience;
- Experience conducting trainings/workshops/facilitated sessions on the following topics:
- Prevention of emotional burnout
- Effective communication skills
- Stress. Stress management
- Fluency in the Ukrainian language
- Understanding the methodology of social and psychological training< /li>
- Mastery of active learning methods
- Emotional intelligence
- Openness to feedback

- Ability to work in a team
