Expert (inclusion issues) in Karitas Ukrayini, Mizhnarodniy Blagodiyniy Fond

The International Charitable Foundation "Caritas of Ukraine" is looking for a Inclusion expert to join its team.

Main duties:

1. Integration of the principles of inclusion and accessibility into all components of project and program activities.
2. Analysis of the needs of people with disabilities in communities and preparation of recommendations.
3. Providing expert support to local teams in the regions.
4. Consulting specialists from other program areas on issues of accessibility and inclusion.
5. Preparation and conducting of trainings and supervisions for staff.
6. Development of inclusive materials (instructions, booklets, presentations, SOPs).
7. Monitoring the inclusion of persons with disabilities in project activities.
8. Cooperation with state structures and CSOs of persons with disabilities.
9. Preparation of chapters on inclusion in reports to donors.

Requirements: 

• Higher education in the field of social work, psychology, inclusive education, human rights, social policy or related fields.
• Experience in non-profit organizations related to humanitarian protection and inclusion, rehabilitation, education or social support - from 2 years.
• Existing knowledge in the field of social work, inclusion, rehabilitation, special education, pedagogy or related areas.
• Skills in working with computer programs, in particular Microsoft Office (MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook), Canva, Miro, Google Workspace, as well as programs for conducting video conferences (Teams, ZOOM).
• Fluent command of Ukrainian language, English - preferably.

Necessary professional skills and personal qualities:

• Ability to plan and prioritize work.
• Communication, systemic thinking, ethics, stress resistance, ability to work with interdisciplinary teams.
• Responsibility, initiative, ethics.
