Purpose of the position:

• Implementation and implementation of projects in the field of international humanitarian law.
• Monitoring and reporting on the status and implementation of projects.
• Involvement and coordination of IHL trainers.
• Quality control of project implementation and use of resources.

Performance evaluation criteria:

• Quality of development, implementation and updating of project plans.
• Timeliness and completeness of regular reports on the status and results of projects.
• Effectiveness of interaction with trainers, stakeholders, donors, partners.
• Achievements intermediate and final goals of the projects according to the approved plan.
• Adherence to the budget framework and transparency of the use of resources.

Main duties:

• Implement and coordinate projects in the field of international humanitarian law in accordance with the approved plans.
• Monitor the implementation of projects, prepare regular reports on their status and results.
• Attract, coordinate and maintain communication with trainers from IHL for the effective implementation of programs and activities.
• Control the quality of project implementation, as well as compliance with budget limits and rational use resources.
• Analyze the progress and effectiveness of the implementation of intermediate and final project goals.
• Organize interaction with trainers, stakeholders, etc.honors and partners, ensure transparency in communication and reporting.

Additional duties:

• Update and improve project work plans based on monitoring results and assessments.
• Contribute to the expansion of the network of IHP trainers and the establishment of partnership relations with external organizations.
• Prepare analytical and informational materials for management, partners and donors.
• Perform other management tasks and assignments related to the development and quality implementation of IHP projects.

General duties:

• Actively work to achieve the goals of the Red Cross.
• Follow the principles of the Red Cross movement and work in accordance with them.
• Perform any other work-related tasks and duties as assigned by the immediate supervisor.

Requirements for the position:

• Higher education, specialization "international law" will be an advantage
• Coach certificate is preferred with IHL
• At least 3 years of general professional experience
• Knowledge of international humanitarian law
• Analytical abilities
• Reporting
• Fluent command of the Ukrainian language
• Proficiency in English at the Advanced level
• Excellent communication skills
• Ability to cooperate and work in a team
• Skills to make decisions
• Skills to cooperate with partners/contractors, local organizations
• Skills to build trust
