Expert/Analyst in Green Recovery in Kyiv School of Economics

Kyiv School of Economics (KSE) is an alliance of companies founded in 1996 by the EERC and the Eurasia Foundation. Our mission is to create an intellectual foundation for the development of a sustainable and innovative economy in Ukraine. 
Part of the company is the KSE Institute, an analytical center at the Kyiv School of Economics (KSE). He is engaged in analytics, consulting, research, develops strategies and recommendations to support the innovative economy of Ukraine.  KSE Institute provides consulting services to the public and private sectors.

Your duties will be:

• Help in engaging and cooperating with key stakeholders for the implementation of the Green Order in Ukraine.

• Supporting the processes of ecological restoration and coordination with The European Green Agreement, as provided for in the Plan for Ukraine and relevant regulations.

• Participation in working groups and meetings with ministries, business and other parties to fulfill tasks.

• Preparation of monitoring reports (annual, monthly, weekly).

• Analysis of possible scenarios and development of recommendations.

• Analysis of the current situation and implementation of the Green Agenda of the Plan of Ukraine.

• Preparation and updating of monitoring reports in accordance with indicators and time frames.

• Update data tables and charts to analyze risks and track progress.

• Prepare progress reports on green recovery and climate actions.

• Data visualization in the form of slides, infographics and analytical tables.

• Regular internal reports on progress, challenges and achievements.

You are our ideal candidate if you have: 

• Master's degree in environmental science, public administration, economics, law, management or related discipline.

• Minimum 3 years of experience in environmental protection, sustainable management or related fields.

• High analytical, communication and presentation skills.

• Excellent command of Ukrainian and English (spoken/written).

• High level of Excel proficiency.

• Knowledge of Ukrainian and EU legislation and international standards in the field of environmental protection.

• Experience of working with international financial organizations will be an advantage.
