To help accelerate our growth and pace of delivery, we are looking for talented Engineering Managers to help spearhead the overall look and feel of our features and services.What you'll be doing:Lead, mentor, and support a team of software engineers to encourage professional growth and maximize productivityOversee and ensure timely and quality delivery of the technical aspects of the development process, ensuring best practices are followed, and high-quality software is deliveredCollaborate with the squad's product owner, design, and other stakeholders to define project priorities, timelines, and deliverablesDrive the strategic planning and execution of engineering projects from conception to deploymentFoster an agile and collaborative work environment, promoting teamwork and resolving any issues that may impact project successImplement and refine engineering processes, tools, and metrics to ensure efficient and effective development workflowsParticipate in code reviews, architectural discussions, and provide technical guidance to ensure the development of robust, scalable, and secure applicationsManage resource allocation and project budgeting to meet organizational objectives while ensuring projects are delivered on time and within budgetStay abreast of emerging technology trends and innovations, integrating new technologies and practices to maintain competitive advantageWorking closely with the Product Owner to manage the performance of the team of engineers in the squadWhat you’ll need:Proven experience as an Engineering Manager or Technical Product Owner or in a similar leadership role within a software development environmentStrong technical background with hands-on experience in software development and web technologiesExcellent leadership skills with the ability to mentor and motivate engineering teamsExperience with agile development methodologies and leading agile teamsStrong project management skills, with a track record of delivering complex projects on time and within budgetExceptional problem-solving abilities and analytical skillsExcellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teamsDeep understanding of software development best practices, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, and testingWhy work at Remofirst?Startup environment.
