You will lead and mentor a team of talented engineers, project managers, QA professionals, and security experts, fostering a collaborative and innovative environment. Your deep expertise in software development life cycle (SDLC), CI/CD pipelines, and security will enable you to optimize and streamline processes, ensuring the highest standards of quality and efficiency.Your key responsibilities will include but not limited:Project Management LeadershipSupervision and Performance Enhancement: Supervise the team and improve the performance and efficiency of Project Management, QA, and Security functions across teams developing FinTech projects.Best Practices Implementation: Develop and implement project management, security, and quality assurance best practices across the organization.Continuous Improvement Culture: Foster a culture of continuous improvement in project management methodologies.SDLC, CI/CD, Security, and QA Process/Function EnhancementCross-Functional Collaboration: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize and streamline the software development life cycle (SDLC), CI/CD pipelines, security (in collaboration with the CISO), and QA processes.Methodologies and Automation: Drive the adoption of software methodologies and automation practices to improve development efficiency.Documentation and OnboardingDocumentation Leadership: Lead efforts to enhance project documentation, data storage, and timely updates, ensuring clarity and completeness.Onboarding Process Development: Develop and improve onboarding processes for new team members per function, ensuring a smooth transition into projects.Team ExpansionGrowth Opportunities: Identify opportunities for team growth and expansion, working with Recruitment to hire and onboard new development teams.Interview Process Enhancement: Enhance the technical interviewing process and candidates' checks.Project Metrics ImplementationMetrics and KPIs: Establish and implement project metrics and key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure project success and efficiency.OKRs Assignment: Assign and track the OKRs for product development teams.Continuous Monitoring and Analysis: Continuously monitor and analyze software development metrics to identify areas for improvement.Release Quality Improvement: Analyze and improve the speed/quality of releases and transparency of the process.Quality ImprovementCollaboration for Quality: Collaborate with project managers, QA leads, business analysts, and technical teams to improve the quality of business analysis and technical requirements.Requirement Processes: Implement processes for rigorous requirement gathering, validation, and traceability.Definition of Done: Enhance the criteria for the definition of done, pre-, and post-release audits and checks.Technology Research: Collaborate with the CTO on new technology research and implementation.Project Planning and OversightComprehensive Planning: Create comprehensive plans for project implementation, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and objectives.Progress Monitoring: Monitor project progress, identify deviations, and take corrective actions to ensure timely delivery.Resource Allocation and Risk ManagementResource Assignment: Assign resources to projects based on skill sets and availability, making adjustments as necessary.Risk Evaluation and Mitigation: Evaluate potential project risks and develop contingency plans to minimize disruptions.SecurityCollaboration with CISO: Collaborate with the CISO and oversee data and project security.DevOps Oversight: Oversee the DevOps function.Security Audits: Oversee security audits and implement fixes based on findings.Application Security Best Practices: Drive best practices of application security.Team CoordinationMeeting Coordination: Coordinate and improve the usefulness of regular team meetings to ensure alignment, engagement, and a clear understanding of project responsibilities.Budget and Timeline ManagementBudget Management: Manage the budget per team and project.Timely Delivery: Ensure that all project deliverables are completed on time and within allocated budgets.TrainingTeam Development: Hire, onboard, train, and conduct performance reviews for the team and tech leaders across the company.Regular Training: Arrange and provide regular training to project managers and other team members.What makes you stand out:Education and Experience:Master's Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.8+ years of experience in software engineering, with at least 3 years in a leadership or managerial role.Technical Skills:Strong understanding of software development life cycle (SDLC) and CI/CD pipelines.Hands-on experience with Agile and Scrum methodologies.Proficiency in programming languages such as PHP, Angular or similar.Experience with DevOps practices and tools (e.g., Jenkins, Docker, Kubernetes).In-depth knowledge of security best practices and collaboration with CISOs or security teams.Familiarity with quality assurance processes and automation testing tools.Project Management:Demonstrated ability to develop and implement project management best practices.Experience in resource allocation, risk management, and budget oversight.Proven track record of managing cross-functional teams and driving project success.Leadership and Team Development:Exceptional leadership skills with the ability to mentor and develop teams.Experience in hiring, onboarding, and training new team members.Strong track record of fostering a collaborative and innovative team environment.Analytical and Strategic Thinking:Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret andleverage project metrics and KPIs.Experience in establishing and tracking OKRs (Objectives and Key Results) for development teams.Ability to identify areas for process improvement and drive continuous enhancement initiatives.Communication and Collaboration:Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to convey complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.Proven experience in collaborating with senior executives, such as CTOs and CEOs, on technology strategy and implementation.Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to work
