Repair engineer in places of temporary residence in The Right to Protection, CF

GENERAL INFORMATION

PF "Right to Protection" is a charitable organization that focuses on providing assistance to internally displaced persons, persons in need of international protection, persons at high risk of statelessness and persons without documents. The Fund is an executive partner of the UNHCR and implements programs for the provision of direct legal assistance throughout Ukraine, promotes changes in the national legal framework, bringing it into line with international standards in the field of human rights.  

The project is aimed at improving the living conditions of people in compact housing in the Kharkiv and Poltava regions. The special focus of the project is on creating barrier-free access and inclusive conditions for people who need it. As part of the project, monitoring will be carried out in order to identify the necessary works from the list of works limited by the project, draw up defect reports, conduct tenders for the selection of contractors, direct repair works, after which the works will be accepted in terms of quantity and quality by institutions for further use of the renovated premises.

DUTIES AND TASKS

• Collection, assessment of completeness, reliability of source data and technical documents regarding the object in need of repair.

• Registration of wishes and expectations of the Customer of repair works.

• Conducting measurements and, if necessary, an instrumental survey.

Preparation of technical inspection reports with graphical, descriptive materials and photographs.

• Preparation graphic and descriptive materials regarding technical, technological and organizational solutions for carrying out repair work at the facility.

• Preparation of Defective Acts.

• Submission of received and prepared materials and documents related to repair works to the internal technical council, precommittee together with information and comments about the object.

• Checking of defective documents for technical, technological and organizational solutions.> style="font-weight: 400">Participation in solving issues related to the introduction of changes to the technical, technological, organizational and estimate documentation related to the implementation of progressive technological processes, planning and constructive solutions.

  Performance of technical supervision of construction and assembly works.

• Monitoring the progress of repair work at a trusted facility with weekly reporting.

• Preparation of the necessary data for reporting on the performance of repair works, including regarding the compliance of volumes, terms and quality of construction and assembly works, as well as the quality of materials and products used in construction, in accordance with technical, technological, organizational and estimate documentation, building regulations and rules, standards, technical conditions, labor safety regulations and fire safety requirements.

• Prompt resolution of issues regarding the replacement of materials or structures without reducing the quality of construction works.

• Study of the causes of deadline violations and deterioration of construction quality, implementation of preventive measures.

• Technical acceptance of completed construction and repair works, control of the necessary technical (executive) documentation for presenting the object to the acceptance committee.

• Checking the data set out in the acts on the performance of the work, regarding the compliance of the scope of work with the technical and estimate documentation.

• Participation in the work of the admissions committee.

• Control over the elimination of deficiencies by contractors within the terms set by the admission committee.

• Conducting a technical evaluation of Contractors participating in the tender offer.

• Communication with Contractors who visit the site for inspection during the tender.

• If necessary, assessment of the technical and organizational capacity of potential contractors according to the list and the level of complexity of repair works at the entrusted facility.

• Interaction with other departments involved in the repair process.

• Organize the process of archiving project documents, scanning and uploading them to the system in accordance with the described project management requirements.

• Understanding and following the Code of Conduct and other policies of the Foundation.

PROFESSIONAL REQUIREMENTS

• professional construction education;

• reading construction drawings;

• ability to work with construction documentation and estimates;

• understanding of the processes of construction and repair work, consumption norms of building materials;

• the ability to evaluate the object from the point of view of the priority necessary construction works;

• experience in similar positions from - 3 years;

• experience of technical supervision (will be an advantage);

• confident PC user;

• readiness for local and remote business trips (60% of working time);

• possibility of using your own car with expense compensation.
