Description of the Position

Training:

-Participate to the preparation and implementation of a proper training plan and sessions on WASH emergency operation and equipment management for selected Ukrainian partner.

-Support the design, development, and delivery of training materials tailored to WASH emergency response.

-Participate to establish the scheduling and logistics of training workshops across different regions in Ukraine, ensuring accessibility for all participants.

-Contribute to ensure that training sessions are participatory and inclusive, addressing gender, disability, and marginalized community needs.

-Contribute to capacity building of other programs teams on emergency plans and responses

-Contribute to monitor the effectiveness of training, using feedback mechanisms to adapt and improve future sessions. 

Emergency Preparedness and guidelines.

-Take part in development and implement comprehensive activities plan with clearly defined objectives, timelines, and deliverables.

-Contribute to the selection of most adequate WASH emergency equipment to be provided to the selected Ukrainian partners and contribute to logistic processes related to purchase and importation.

-Contribute to the design of adequate Operation and Maintenance training modules and guideline related to WASH emergency equipment selected/purchased and provided to Ukrainian partners

-Participate to the design on specific and located “Emergency Preparedness and Responses plans”, involving Ukrainian selected partners and relevant stakeholders. 

Reporting.

-Ensure information sharing and reporting to the PM “Emergency & Training WASH”, on dedicated activities

-Contribute to regular data collection, analysis, and reporting, using both quantitative and qualitative methods to measure outcomes.

-Take part in weekly program meetings and clusters on request-Keep his/her monitoring tools and files archived in the Solidarites office, accessible to his/her Team Leader and/or project manager

-Take part in weekly program meetings and draw up/submit a weekly task report (which should include progress made by the team) to his/her project manager

-Contribute to regular reporting to donors and organizational leadership on project progress. 

Coordination and representation:

-Assist the PM “Emergency & Training WASH” in identifying, engaging, and building relationships with key stakeholders including local authorities, national and international NGOs, government agencies, and community leaders.

-Establish and maintain good relations with local participants and communities (populations) in the operational fields

-Listen to the populations and local participants in the field and report to his/her project manager any non-technical or safety-related issues which could affect the activities or safety of Solidarites International teams

-Facilitate communication between the PM “Emergency & Training WASH” and stakeholders, ensuring transparency and fostering collaboration for the success of the project. 

PROFILE FORSAKENS

Studies: Technical diploma or certificate related to Water/Sanitation/Public Health or Building/civil engineering

Experience: Experience on humanitarian project management, partnerships and relations withNational/Local Authorities. Experience on working in INGO or Local NGO. 

Language: Ukrainian, English with fluent level required

IT: Proficiency, Pack Office, Basic hardware knowledge or network management

Qualification: Knowledge of humanitarian sector is a plus. 

Soft skills: Autonomy, leadership qualities, analytical skills, strategic thinking and action

WORKING CONDITIONS:

Place of work: office at the address: Dnipro, possible business trips to Kharkiv, Mykolaiv regions and Kyiv.

Contract: fixed term contract (according to Ukrainian legislation) 

Type of employment: full time

Salary:  1430 EURO gross (paid in UAH according to the monthly rate of the bank of the European Commission)

Additionally:  paid vacation 31 calendar days, paid family leave, life insurance.
