We are currently looking for a Middle / Senior Embedded Test Engineer to join the camera R&D team.
Requirements
- Commercial experience working with embedded systems.
- Understanding the principles of operation of microcontrollers and/or embedded SoC.
- Practical experience with RTOS (FreeRTOS or analogs) and/or bare-metal.
- Knowledge of UART, SPI, I2C and the principles of their testing.
- Skills in reading schematics, datasheets and technical documentation.
- Debugging experience using an oscilloscope, logic analyzer, JTAG.
- English language at a level sufficient to work with technical documentation
Responsibilities
- Testing embedded software on real hardware.
- Validation of peripherals, sensors and interfaces.
- Checking firmware stability in different operating modes and conditions operation.
- Participation in bringing-up of new boards and revisions from the point of view of testing.
- Identification, reproduction and localization of defects at the HW / FW interface.
- Cooperation with embedded developers for root-cause analysis.
- Development and support of test scenarios and regression sets.
- Formation of acceptance criteria for embedded functionality.
- Documentation of test results and found defects.
Will be a plus
- Knowledge of Python or bash for automation tests.
- Understanding the principles of operation of cameras, sensors, or imaging systems.
- Experience participating in hardware bring-up or production iterations.
- Experience in IoT, instrumentation, or defense projects.
- Experience with Embedded Linux or single-board computers.
