HOT STOCK-IoT is a Ukrainian hardware & software company that develops civilian commercial IoT solutions for retail. Our device is installed between the barcode scanner and the POS terminal and transmits events to the cloud analytics system in real time.

Architecture: Device > MQTT Broker (Eclipse Mosquitto) > Go service > PostgreSQL - we are looking for an engineer who will focus on the embedded part of the product.

Tasks

• Development and support of embedded firmware on Go
• Work with microcontrollers STM32
• Integration of NB-IoT / LTE (4G) modules
• Implementation of MQTT-client on the device side
• Capture and processing of real-time events
• Local buffering and reliable data delivery
• OTA-update firmware
• Logging, diagnostics, remote debug
• Participation in testing devices in real retail outlets

Requirements

Required

• Commercial development experience on Go

• Experience or deep understanding embedded-systems

• Experience with STM32

  • UART / SPI / I2C / GPIO / timers

• Experience with NB-IoT / LTE / GSM modules

• Understanding the principles of MQTT

• Experience debugging embedded systems (serial debug, logging)

Would be an advantage

• Experience with TinyGo

• Production IoT devices

• OTA in production

• Experience with POS / retail-hardware

• Understanding limitations memory and power consumption
