Embedded developer — part/full-time, remote

We are looking for an embedded developer to work on AI guidance systems for FPV multicopters and fixed-wing drones. Responsibilities will include working with drone firmware (Betaflight, INAV), OSD, as well as building and testing prototypes.

Our team has already built prototypes that have shown results in a virtual environment and on mini-drones that have radio communication with a computer. We are currently integrating our solution on Raspberry Pi and Nvidia Jetson computer boards with FPV drones and are preparing to test them on the test site in September.

Our team includes experienced entrepreneurs, programmers, data scientists with experience working in Silicon Valley startups and FAANG companies. Our team won prizes at the NATO-Ukraine Defense Innovation Unit hackathon and the National Security Hackathon 2024. We are currently preparing to raise the first round of investments in the USA and Europe.

Requirements for the candidate:

• Experience in C, C++
• Experience in development and debugging of STM32, ESP32 microcontrollers
• Experience in microelectronics and circuit engineering
• Willingness to invest in victory
• Passion for doing a good job

Obvious ties and tasks:

• Work with firmware for drones (Betaflight, INAV)
• Development of On Screen Display module (for example, upgrade from text OSD to OSD , which draws a rectangle with given coordinates, size, and color)
• Modification and upgrade of flight controllers (for example, CPU debugging and information processing drops at a high frequency of telemetry and instruction requests)
• Optional : the ability to solder smd components on printed circuit boards
• Assembly and testing of drone prototypes
