Overview

42nd separate mechanized brigade - a formation within the Ground Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. The brigade was created in 2023. Since the summer of 2023, the soldiers of the unit have been successfully carrying out combat missions in the east of Ukraine in the Serebryansky Forest area and in the Bakhmut direction. Since May 2024, the brigade has been defending the Kharkiv region.

Responsibilities

• management of various types of road transport
• transportation of cargo and personnel
• compliance with the requirements for the operation and repair of automobile equipment
• responsibility for the technical serviceability and maintenance of the assigned transport in combat readiness

Requirements

• age from 18 to 50 years
• having a driver's license of categories B, C, (C1, CE, C1E - will be an advantage)
• driving experience
• stress resistance
• high responsibility
• military service experience will be an advantage

Conditions

• mobilization until the end of martial law or contract service for a period of 3-5 years
• financial support from 20,000 to 120,000 hryvnias depending on the rank, position and specifics of the performance of combat tasks
• guaranteed training according to the field of activity
• the possibility of transferring active servicemen with the consent of the immediate commander
