GENERAL INFORMATION
BF "Right to Defense" (Fund) is a charitable organization focusing on providing assistance to internally displaced persons, persons in need of international protection, stateless persons, persons at increased risk of statelessness and persons without documents. The Fund is an executive partner of the UNHCR and implements programs for the provision of direct legal assistance throughout Ukraine, promotes changes in the national legal framework, bringing it into line with international standards in the field of human rights.
LANGUAGES AND TASKS
Under the direct supervision of the head of the regional team, the regional logistician and the general supervision of the humanitarian aid coordinator, the employee must:
- identify the most vulnerable residents of communities and IDPs, to identify their needs according to the project conditions;
- to timely and fully display information in the CRM accounting system;
- to participate in the distribution of charitable aid in commodity form, namely:
- go to the place of distribution or transfer of material aid to institutions, having with you the necessary documents for the issuance of aid;
- identify the beneficiaries who were previously registered, contact them for further issuance of aid;
- check the criteria of beneficiaries in accordance with the project requirements in case of distribution without prior registration;
- fill in the distribution information in accordance with the requirements of the program and the project;
- digitize handwritten information according to program and project work standards;
- engage local authorities, volunteers to unload cars with charitable aid in the form of goods;
- sign acts of acceptance and transfer with institutions that are recipients of aid ;
- - to accompany the delivery of aid to beneficiaries with limited mobility, including the delivery of aid to the house/apartment;
- to establish relations with local authorities and volunteers to ensure a safe process of unloading, storing and issuing charitable aid in commodity form;
- be responsible for primary documentation, timely transfer the originals of documents in accordance with program and project standards;
- be responsible for communications with logistics partners that ensure the delivery of goods to the place of distribution
- check the quality of the delivered goods (check the quantity and compliance of the condition of the goods with the one declared in the accompanying documents for the goods);
- sign the accompanying documents when receiving the goods from the carriers, according to the instructions and work standards of the department humanitarian aid;
- take any other responsibility deemed necessary or delegated by the manager to ensure the level of service required by the Foundation and/or donor;
- understand and adhere to the Code of Conduct and other a politician of the Fund.
PROFESSIONAL REQUIREMENTS
- higher or professional education (preferably: sociology, jurisprudence, pedagogy, information technology, journalism);
- readiness for significant work in the "fields" (outside the office);
- readiness to a large number of trips and more than the standard working day;
- readiness for physical exertion (participation in unloading aid, carrying aid to a storage place, etc.);
- ability to collect information in accordance with the goals and objectives of the project ;
- skills to prepare reports (analytical, regarding a separate incident);
- understanding of humanitarian principles;
- excellent communication skills, readiness for daily communication with people (IDPs, by representatives of government institutions);
- self-motivation;
- flexibility;
- awareness of the situation in the region where the project is implemented will be a significant advantage.
