Their products help control water flow, leak prevention, and overall system performance.A DevOps Engineer will support the DevOps initiatives by assisting with infrastructure optimization, CI/CD migration, and automation projects. The engineer will report to the DevOps Manager.Requirements3+ years of experience as a Site Reliability Engineer.3+ years in commercial Developer, System Administrator, DevOps, and SRE roles with a proven track record of improving service reliability and performance.Understanding decommissioning deployment tools (like Octopus Deploy) and migrating to GitHub Actions.Understanding of migrating repositories and workflows from GitLab to GitHub Actions.Strong experience in automating tasks and workflows using GitHub Actions, Terraform, and scripting languages (TypeScript, Python, Bash, PowerShell).Strong knowledge of Infrastructure as Code (IaC), particularly Terraform.Understanding of importing infrastructure from AWS CDK/System and refactoring it into Terraform.Knowledge of patch management solutions such as Automox and AWS Systems Manager Patch Manager.Knowledge of security tools such as Snyk, tfsec, and others for compliance and vulnerability management.Understanding of ISO standards and patch management (Automox, AWS Systems Manager).Familiarity with YAML-based configuration management.Exposure to ISO-certified environments and compliance frameworks.Experience in cost optimization and efficiency improvements in cloud infrastructure.Experience working in multi-account AWS environments with standardized infrastructure.Expertise in analyzing, refactoring, and improving existing cloud infrastructure for performance, security, and cost efficiency.Expertise in diagnosing and resolving infrastructure, security, and CI/CD-related issues.Strong ability to work cross-functionally with developers, DevOps engineers, and security teams to align infrastructure improvements with business and technical goals.ResponsibilitiesAssist in the decommissioning of Octopus Deploy and migrating workflows to GitHub Actions.Help in migrating repositories and CI/CD pipelines from GitLab to GitHub Actions.Automate and optimize through GitHub Actions workflows or AWS Lambda, preferably using TypeScript.
