DevOps Engineer, military officer in Hartiya, 13-ta BrOP NGU

2nd Corps of the National Guard of Ukraine "Charter" started a large-scale project on the digital transformation of logistics processes. The goal is to create a flexible, transparent and efficient military logistics management system. Currently, a team is being formed that will implement the project in cooperation with a private technology partner. We offerparticipation in a national-scale project with a real impact, work with an open and motivated management, access to key solutions, the opportunity to influence the architecture of processes and systems, support from experienced analysts, a technical team and a strategic partner.

Main responsibilities:

• Environment setup and support (Dev / Staging / Prod);
• Organization of CI/CD processes (Git, Jenkins, GitLab CI, other);
• Containerization (Docker), orchestration (Kubernetes - preferred);
• Configuring monitoring, logging, alarms;
• Interaction with security services for providing cyber protection;
• Supporting deployment both in the cloud and on-premise;
• Participation in the formation of technical architecture together with IT curators.

Professional skills:

• 2+ years of experience in DevOps or systems engineering;
• Practical experience with CI/CD, Docker, Linux;
• Understanding secure administration of servers and services;
• Ability to work in an area with data restrictions (without access to the public cloud - will be an advantage);
• Independence, accuracy;
• Fluent possession of the Ukrainian language, readiness for basic interaction with the military specialists;
• Experience with Kubernetes, Ansible, Prometheus, Grafana;
• Working in complex or sensitive environments (medical, government, defense) will be an advantage;
• Understanding of DevSecOps principles;
• Experience with projects, where on-premise infrastructure is required - will be an advantage;

• Ability to quickly adapt to the situation, quickly make informed decisions;
