The 429th separate regiment of unmanned systems "Achilles" performs combat missions in the hottest areas of the front. The 429th separate regiment of unmanned systems "Achilles" performs combat missions in the hottest areas of the front. The unit was created on the basis of the BpAK shock battalion, which was part of the 92nd OShBr. In 2023-2024, "Achilles" destroyed and damaged 19,853 legitimate military targets of the enemy. In connection with significant performance indicators, in January 2025 the battalion was expanded into the 429th separate regiment of unmanned systems "Achilles" as part of the Ground Forces of the Ukrainian Armed Forces. The main tasks of the unit are aerial reconnaissance, fire damage to enemy forces and assets with the help of drones.
The R&D center opens positions for engineers who are ready to work on full-cycle projects in the direction of UAVs/robotics: electronics, software, testing and implementation of solutions.
REQUIREMENTS
Minimum requirements
- 1+ year of hands-on DevOps / system administration experience (commercial or strong proprietary projects).
- Knowledge of Linux administration: services, logs, networks, troubleshooting.
- Experience with Docker (build, run, images, registries) and basic understanding of CI/CD.
- Basic understanding of TCP/UDP, DNS, TLS, firewalls, routing.
- Knowledge of monitoring basics: logs/metrics/alerts.
- Technical English at Intermediate level.
Desired requirements
- 3+ years of production infrastructure support with uptime/latency requirements.
- Understanding of system reliability processes: on-call, RCA, post-mortems, SLO.
- Experience with Kubernetes (deployments, services, ingress, storage, Helm) or equivalent experience with container orchestration.
- Knowledge of CI/CD: pipeline construction, versioning, rollbacks, canary/blue-green deployments.
- Experience in monitoring: centralized logs + metrics + traces.
- Network debugging for media: loss/jitter, MTU problems, NAT traversal, QoS basics, latency budgeting.
- Experience of running streaming stacks and knowledge of protocols: RTSP, RTP/RTCP, SRT, WebRTC will be an advantage.
- Experience with media servers/components: GStreamer, FFmpeg based pipeline, MediaMTX would be an advantage.
- Experience with multi-WAN/VPN environments (WireGuard/Tailscale/NetBird) for secure data transfer would be an advantage.
- Experience with MikroTik RouterOS will be an advantage.
