DevOps Engineer in BAS-IP

We are a BAS-IP technology company that focuses on the development and sale of hardware and software solutions for building IP intercom systems.

Our product portfolio includes video and audio intercoms, residential complex management systems, mobile applications for working with intercom and remote control system, notification system and much more.

We are currently looking for an experienced DevOps Engineer to be a great addition to our team.

As a DevOps Engineer, you will play a key role in ensuring the seamless deployment, scaling and management of our IoT ecosystem. You will work closely with embedded software engineers, backend developers and mobile teams to automate and optimize the integration, testing, deployment and operation of our IoT and backend solutions.

Key responsibilities:

Cloud infrastructure management:

• Development, implementation and management of cloud infrastructure to support IoT solutions and backend services.

Automation and CI/CD:

• Development and support of CI/CD pipelines for automation of testing, creation and deployment embedded software, backend services and desktop software.

Monitoring and troubleshooting:

• Setting up monitoring, logging and notifications for cloud infrastructure and IoT devices to ensure the system is operational.
• Response to and eliminate any production malfunctions.

Security:

• Development and implementation security best practices for various environments, including secure interactions between IoT devices and cloud services.

We expect the candidate to:

• Administrative experience Unix systems from 3 years.
• Knowledge of network protocols, firewalls, VPN and secure communication protocols for IoT systems.
• Experience with Docker and container orchestration systems.
• Experience with CI/CD systems (Jenkins).
• Experience with monitoring and logging systems (Prometheus, Grafana, ELK, Jaeger).
• Experience with IaC (Ansible, Terraform).
• Experience with proxy servers and load balancers (Nginx, Traefik).
• Basic programming skills (Go, Bash, Python) for task automation and cloud infrastructure management.
• Location: Ukraine.

Would be a plus:

• VoIP experience.
• MQTT experience.
• IDS/IPS configuration experience (Wazuh, Snort).
• CI/CD configuration experience for embedded systems (AOSP, Embedded Linux).

A strong and motivated team of 20+ people developing several product lines:

• IP intercoms on the basis of Android
• IP intercoms and on the basis of Linux
• Server of management of residential complexes
• Companion applications for iOS/Android

We use a mixture of kanban and scrum, we work in two-week sprints, we only practice a remote work format, we have a flexible schedule, we welcome high level independence.
