Leroy Merlin Ukraine is part of ADEO, an international holding group that united 35 autonomous companies in 12 countries of Asia, Europe and South America.
We are looking for a Director of Development - an experienced leader who will lead the strategic direction of expanding our presence in new markets. The main purpose of the position is to identify opportunities for growth, launch new turnkey locations/branches and ensure their operational efficiency at the start.

Risk management: assessing and minimizing operational, legal and security risks in new regions.
Brand localization: adaptation of the company's business model and value proposition to the specifics of new markets.
What we expect from you:
Experience: from 5 years in management positions (Expansion Director, Head of Development, COO) in system companies (Retail, FMCG, HoReCa, Fintech, etc.).
Expertise: proven successful experience of large-scale expansion (a large number of openings or entering foreign markets).
Analytical skills: ability to work with financial models, forecast sales and assess risks.
Soft Skills: high negotiation skills, ability to make decisions under conditions of uncertainty and strong management qualities.
Mobility: readiness for frequent business trips.
Leadership and team building: experience in hiring, onboarding and remote management of regional managers; ability to translate corporate culture to new divisions.
