Design trainee — Wix Playground Academy in Wix

The Wix Playground Academy is coming to Kyiv for the first time! This fully paid, five-week hybrid program helps junior designers level up their web design skills. With successful programs worldwide and a growing community of graduates, it’s more than just learning—it’s a chance to network with like-minded creatives and take a first step toward working with Wix’s creative team.

Dive into hands-on workshops led by top local creatives and design studios, covering web design, branding and identity, image making, and lettering. With personalized mentorship, real-world projects, and expert feedback, you’ll refine your craft, expand your creative vision, and thrive in a dynamic design-tech environment.

This program is designed for junior graphic designers looking to immerse themselves in a design-tech environment, develop their personal portfolio and get to know likeminded creatives.

Program acceptance requirements:

• You should have a strong foundation in classic graphic design, branding, complex typography, and color theory.
• Experience in areas like book design, packaging, branding, or web design is a plus.
• Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite and Figma is essential.
• Good proficience in English: we are an international company and work in English. The Playground Acadmy will be held in English as well.

Acceptance process:

We’ll go through your submissions by May 15th, 2025. If we find your portfolio relevant, you will be invited to a Zoom interview. It will give us a chance to get to know you better and explain the program further.
