The 3Shape company invites an experienced Delphi software development specialist to join the Scrum team in the Kyiv office in the creation of CAD systems. Together, we ensure the comfortable work of dental technicians and dentists, which allows them to provide patients with first-class treatment. Our software is used by millions of professionals in clinics and laboratories around the world.

You will join a highly skilled and motivated team working on CAD solutions, complex 3D algorithms, OpenGL, AI integration and more.  

Your responsibilities:

• create user interface, algorithms and implement workflows for the user;
• ensure high code quality (review, refactoring, processes, code metrics, etc.); 
• ensure code reliability (for example, by developing and implementing automatic tests);
• cooperate with developers from other projects; 
• develop a modern desktop 3D modeling program for Windows.

Candidate Requirements

The successful candidate must possess the following competencies:

• has 3+ years of experience as a software developerbaking using Delphi; 
• understands and has experience working with design templates and OOP principles; 
• has deep mathematical knowledge; 
• demonstrates interest in 3D and computational geometry; 
• demonstrates a high level of dedication to work and responsibility;  
• supporter of teamwork according to the Agile methodology; 
• has a higher education in the field of computer science, computer engineering or similar;
• fluent in English. 

It will be an advantage if you:

• have 3D computer graphics skills and the mathematical foundations of this process; 
• like to design software and work with complex algorithms;
• have experience in C# or C++;
• demonstrate knowledge and/or interest in Power BI and analytics data;
• have experience using Agile practices, including development through testing, continuous integration, and Scrum.

We are looking for an experienced Delphi Software Developer to work in our Kyiv office and join our Scrum team to develop 3Shape’s CAD software. You will ease the daily work of dental technicians and dentists helping them in providing better patients treatments. Our product serves millions of users within the Labs and Clinics all over the world.

You will join a highly skilled and motivated team who works with CAD and complex 3D algorithms, OpenGL, AI integration, etc.

Your responsibilities:

• Design user interface, algorithms, and implement workflows for dentistry
• Ensure high code quality through reviews, refactoring, processes, code metrics, etc.
• Ensure high maintainability of the code (e.g. through designing and implementing automatic tests)
• Cooperate with developers on other projects
• Develop the coolest 3D Windows desktop application

Your profile:

The successful candidate demonstrates most of the following qualifications:

• 3+ years of experience as a software developer with Delphi
• Solid experience with design patterns and OOP principles
• Good mathematical understanding
• Interest in 3D and computational geometry
• You work with strong commitment and take ownership of your work
• Team-minded personality with flair for an Agile working style
• Degree in Computer Science or Engineering or similar field
• Confident in English

Would be a plus:

• 3D computer graphics and its related mathematics
• Passionate about software design and complex algorithms
• Experience with C# or C++
• Experience and/or interest in PowerBI and data analytics
• Agile practices, including test-driven development, continuous integration and Scrum.
