The position of database administrator aims to provide information support for protection and education programs that work with NRCs with conflict and conflict with risks. The database administrator will be responsible for data management, data analysis and reporting for protection and education programs in Ukraine, which meet NRC requirements for monitoring and evaluation, as well as data protection. It will control the database, control the data input, will ensure their cleaning and prepare internal and external reports for regional missions in Ukraine. Positions:
- To ensure the full functioning of the project databases that meet the requirements of donors and NRC programs, throughout the project implementation period?
- take the initiative in solving everyday problems in accordance with agreed procedures, priorities and standards in the field of work.?
- prepare and develop reports on the state of affairs in accordance with management requirements.?
- promote and share ideas for improving in your own area of activity.
- To support and promote the development of data management systems by documenting, implementing and coordinating standardized information flows.?
- Be responsible for database keeping in accordance with the requirements of the programAM protection and education. Responsible for database development and management, responsible for database administration and related procedures in a reliable and safe way.?
- Introduce and maintain a system of storage of documentation related to protection and education programs. Provide proper storage of data, tools and information related to information protection and management?
- Participate in the development and implementation of information solutions to manage data participants. ?
- Under delegated powers, participate in the quality control of data in the NRC data protection tools?
- Promote the analysis of specific risks and needs in the field of protection and education, as well as developing response to them.?
- promote the preparation of donor, internal and other types of reports; to prepare and provide information panels, statistical charts, tables and other methods of visualization if necessary.?
- Respond to your affairs reports, regular activities and other reporting tools?
- Submit reports from database and conclusions obtained at the request of a defense manager/education manager. Information technology, computer science, statistics, data science, data management or analytics or related industries.
- Previous work experience in difficult and unstable conditions is welcome.?
- Good written and oral English.?
- Fluent possession of written and oral Ukrainian.?
- Documented Results related to the responsibility of the position.
- A thorough experience with Microsoft Office (MS Excel Advanced).?
- The ability to coordinate tasks and workflows, following a short time.?
- Responsibility, independence, attentiveness to details, ability to stress, diligence.?
- A proactive self -employee with high level of initiative.?
- The ability to quickly solve problems and proactively predict weaknesses.?
- strong analytical and research skills.?
- Experience with relational databases and web development is an advantage.?
- Knowledge of different data collection methodologies including mobile data collection.?
- Desirable experience working on VBA development.?
- The desired experience of building protected information systems.?
- The desired experience with CRM systems.?
- Knowledge of solutions for analysis and visualization of data such as Powerbi is an advantage.?
- Knowledge of GIS, GIS programs and geolocation (eg QGIS) and experience in working with them is an advantage.
